VOLUNTEER POSITION

Needed: Web designer/maintenance
Project: Meaford Green Care Farm
Location: anywhere in Canada

Come be a part of an exciting social enterprise! We are starting the second outdoor day program for people with dementia in Canada! Meaford Green Care Farm is a program providing folks coping with dementia an opportunity for meaningful work in an agricultural setting. We will provide a communal lunch as well as Green Care Providers to assist in the care of our members. This is a seasonal program (May to September) given that it is an outdoor day program working on planting, managing and harvesting from a vegetable garden, orchard, and sensory garden.

We are in need of a person very knowledgable in web design and newsletters to support out website. We have started a shell of one on WIX and need assistance in updating and personalizing the site. We also hope to start a bi annual newsletter. This role will not require a lot of time if you are experienced. Once we get the basics designed, the updates will likely be monthly.
