BOARD POSITION

Role: Board Secretary

Location: remote anywhere in Canada, preferably in Eastern Ontario

Roy and Cher's Rescue Farm is searching its next Board Secretary!

The Board Secretary role focuses on supporting the Board and the Executive Director, maintaining all official documents and records for the Board. They work directly with the Executive Director to plan and run meetings, organize events such as the AGM, and keep the Rescue's business well organized and updated.

Commitment:
- Minimum of a 2 year term.
- 12 hours per month.
- Attendance of bi-monthly team meetings.

Other duties consist of maintaining the animal and vet logs through Google docs. Roy and Cher's Rescue Farm is run entirely by volunteers.

The Board Secretary is a volunteer position.

Roy and Cher's Rescue Farm operates as a network of fosters in Eastern Ontario and Southern Quebec and is a registered Canadian charity. We have board members across Canada.

Since 2013, Roy and Cher's has been assisting animals rescued from abuse, neglect and abandonment. The Rescue's current focus is spaying and neutering stray and feral cats and assisting low-income families and individuals feed their cat companions (and providing litter), as well as assisting with vet costs.
