How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team:
The Field Staff, Restoration & Infrastructure performs a variety of field work activities which support environmental projects and programs delivered by the Erosion Risk Management, Restoration and Resource Management, Construction Services or Professional Services teams. Field staff will assist the Technician and help actively participate in the safe operation and maintenance of a range of tools and equipment including agricultural tractors and implements. Staff will learn relevant skills, techniques, and best management practices for site preparation techniques, meadow restoration and invasive species management.
This position plays an integral role in the on-ground implementation of ecological restoration and ecosystem enhancement through the site preparation practices. Occupational health and safety is a major responsibility of this position
