Shift Delivery Co-op is a worker-owned cooperative in Vancouver that delivers goods using electric cargo tricycles to help to reduce our carbon footprint while creating positive connections in the city. We believe in sustainable delivery, human interactions, and having fun while we work!

Our scheduling is flexible, the work is dynamic, and we support our team in building the lives they want to live.

We’re looking for new folks to join our team!

Positions: Part-Time Delivery Person ("Triker")
Positions available: 1-2
Hours: Approximately 20-35 per week
Wage: $18.00 per hour to start, with regular raises and extended health benefits

Is this the job for you?

You might love being a Triker at Shift if you:

• Enjoy being outside and riding, no matter the weather
• Can comfortably lift up to 50 pounds (we use hand carts, so no heavy carrying)
• Have a great attitude - friendly, professional, and team-oriented
• Are a safe and confident road user, comfortable in city traffic
• Have regular availability, including weekends and some holidays
• Can commit for at least six months

What you'll be doing

• Making deliveries using a cargo tricycle (we provide the gear and training)
• Using a work phone to complete deliveries and stay connected with the team
• Exploring the city and learning the most efficient routes
• Working independently while staying part of a supportive team
