Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Crew Member to join our team. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have previous farming or related experience, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of farm tasks including planting, weeding and harvesting.
• Greenhouse work including mixing soil, seeding trays, and irrigation.
• Washing, processing and packing of vegetables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects repeatedly and performing strenuous tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the farm. We are not accessible by public transportation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with others.
• Previous experience with market garden style farming or related industry experience (e.g., greenhouse, landscaping) is ideal.
• Previous experience in operating heavy equipment or compact tractors is an asset but not required.
• G drivers license as asset but not required.

• The role may require early mornings, weekend work, or overtime during peak seasons.
