The Okanagan and Similkameen Invasive Species Society (OASISS) is a non-profit organization with a diverse membership.

We have representation from different agencies, ministries, conservation organizations and natural resource companies within the Okanagan and Similkameen valleys. OASISS is dedicated to working together with partners to prevent, monitor and control the spread of invasive species in our region.

OASISS is hiring FOUR different positions. We are currently seeking:

• Field Crew Supervisor — Full time, Apr-Oct 2025. Base location: Home office, located anywhere in the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen
• Invasive Plant Technician(s) — Full time, May-Aug 2025. Base location: Home office within the Regional District of the Okanagan - Similkameen
• Communications and Program Assistant — Full-time, Apr–Aug 2025... Base location: Home office, located anywhere in the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen
• Aquatic Invasive Species Technician(s) — Full-time, May-Aug 2025. Base locations: Kelowna or Vernon, B.C.
