Position: Energy Programs Coordinator

The Energy Programs Coordinator contributes to all aspects of the Regional Energy Efficiency Program (REEP). The role involves supporting residents in making their homes resilient to climate impacts through energy efficiency, low-carbon, and resiliency upgrades. The coordinator will contribute to the City's efforts to reduce community-wide greenhouse gas emissions that align with Nelson Next, Nelson’s Climate Action Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-secondary diploma in business, planning, marketing, sustainability, or a related business field
OR a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a field related to energy or sustainability.
SKILLS:
A strong understanding of building energy efficiency, climate change mitigation, and multi-level government climate action plans. With a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with thorough and effective communication utilizing computer software programs in a high-performance environment.
