Location: btwn. Nanaimo & Courtenay (near Royston), Vancouver Island BC
Dates: May - October 2025
Hours: 30 hours/ week
Eligibilty: age 30 & under (funding requirement)

Innisfree Farm is an internationally registered, 7 acre botanical garden and herbal farm. Using botanical, environmental, and ecological best practices, we are continually enhancing the programs, services and garden experience at Innisfree.

Deputy Head Gardener:

• Contribute to a dynamic team of growers and nature enthusiasts

Key Skills & Competencies

• Horticultural or agricultural qualfication preferred
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about gardening and the outdoors.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices, conservation, and biodiversity
• Past experience working in a horticultural environment
• Strong leadership, communication & organizational skills
