Restorative gardening, Sustainable landscaping

Position: Gardener
Company: Restorative Landscapes Inc.
Location: All over GTA, usually meeting in the Annex at our garage and carpooling in company vehicles, or individually getting to site if it makes more sense logistically.

We're looking for a like-minded gardener living close to downtown Toronto to join our quirky maintenance team.

Type: Seasonal – 35hrs per week on average

Duration: Early April – early December 2025, with the possibility to return annually

Work hours: Between Monday and Friday, from approximately 8am to 4pm

An ideal candidate has:

• Tree, plant, and shrub identification capabilities
• An understanding of pruning and other seasonal garden maintenance techniques

• The ability to work physically in the elements
• Strength for kneeling, bending, digging, lifting and other repetitive motions
• Listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
• A positive attitude towards others as well as working in isolation
• A valid G license
• A passion for ecology and environmental awareness

Starting wage: $26/hour
