Position: Project Leader

We are currently seeking a motivated Project Leader to work within a team to coordinate and implement a project focused on using geomorphology assessments, public outreach, and naturalized bank restoration to restore Southeastern NB waterways and beyond. This project encompasses multiple components with end goals to 1) enhance and protect the watercourse of the Petitcodiac River and Memramcook River in New Brunswick by addressing eroded sites, with a focus on species at risk habitat and specifically iBoF salmon 2) provide essential data to inform discussions, decision-making, and relevant preparations for potential future infrastructure changes along our watercourses and 3) increase capacity among the watershed groups in the province to undertake similar projects.
Position Overview:
The Project Leader ensures timely completion of scientific, education, and community engagement projects that have been pre-approved by the Executive Director and for which funding is secured. The Project Leader is expected to work closely with the project team, Project Manager, Office Manager, Executive Director, and other PWA staff in a supportive and team-oriented setting.

This is a full-time, ongoing position starting at $41,600/year commensurate with experience, based out of our vibrant downtown Moncton office with flexible schedule and location when work responsibilities allow.
