1. Background

The Starfish Canada (TSC) uplifts youth changemakers, amplifying their voices in climate action while centering our approach on equity and justice. We provide the essential education, resources, communities, and recognition for youth to thrive as leaders in shaping a climate-resilient future.

TSC is leading a project that aims to activate youth engagement in community-level climate action through learning achieved via a place-based, experiential, Indigenous-led, environmental education curriculum. In collaboration with a co-design team made up of Six Nations of the Grand River community members, educators, and youth, we hope to design an environmental literacy curriculum that interweaves Indigenous Knowledge and Western environmental science, delivered to Six Nations communities and Hamilton schools.

To that end, TSC is seeking a videographer or firm to document and deliver two videos that capture the process of this project, including the experiences and testimonials of participants.
