Job Description:

Are you adventurous? Do you like the outdoors? Would you like to learn many skills that will help you in your everyday life? Then come live and work in a log cabin on a remote lake in NW Ontario for 5 months! Assist in running a busy, rustic and secluded, off-the-grid, fishing and hunting wilderness resort. Full time seasonal work (5-6 days per week) from May 7th – September 30th. Would like people with some of the following skills but not a necessity – Immaculate cabin cleaning, building and grounds maintenance, dockhand, painting, lawn care and gardening, laundry, wood splitting, motorboat operations and repair, friendly customer service, fishing experience, conservation ethic and environmental knowledge. Starting pay for salaried positions is $2500-$3000/month. PLUS, FREE HOUSING. Additional benefits: use of boat and weekly tips acquired from guests.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be in EXCELLENT PHYSICAL SHAPE—hardworking with the ability to do some heavy lifting and portaging. Looking for mature, responsible, service-minded people with a sense of independence and adventure; folks who enjoy outdoor physical work and want to create an charming environment for guests.
