COME WORK FOR US as we expand our Kitchen Team! We’re looking for hardworking, positive, reliable and fun people that are dedicated to great food. Our kitchen is a beautiful sun-lit space with an outstanding view of the land. This position offers the benefit of a regular salary and rarely working late.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals using the high standards our clients have grown to love since 1964
• Able to follow recipes, but also to tweak to accommodate allergies and special requests
• Able to prep quickly both independently and within a small team
• Participate in daily preparation and beautiful presentation of breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently – no deep fryers!

• Participate in maintaining kitchen: cleaning, dishwashing & inventory
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and standards

Requirements

• Must be available to work most holidays and weekends
• Knowledge and experience of locally sourced ingredients and vegetarian food an asset

• Must have solid technique and knowledge in the foundations of cooking

• Able to work within a team as well as independently to prioritize and organize tasks to meet the requirements of the day
• Open and honest communication skills
• Able to work calmly under pressure while meeting timelines
• Must enjoy cooking, bringing creativity and joy to the work you do every day!!
