Job Title: Part-Time Campsite Attendant
Campground: Hot Sands Operations
Experience level: no experience required

Location: 5003 Lakeshore Drive, Osoyoos, BC
Housing: On-site accommodation may be available during the working period. Please specify whether you have own RV as an accommodation.

Job Type: Part-Time (4 hours daily from Monday to Sunday)
Dates: commit to the full season (May-October).

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Part-Time Campsite Attendant to oversee the daily operations of our summer campsite located on the beach of desirable Osoyoos lake. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves maintaining facilities, providing excellent customer service, and supervising on-site activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and general inquiries. Respond to campers' inquiries and provide assistance when required
  • Coordinate campsite, RV and parking reservations with appointed coordinator(s) using email and mobile phone communication and register campers and RV guests in guests’ book.
  • Keeping general maintenance and cleanliness of the campground, including restroom facilities, common areas, garbage bins, picnic tables and campsites.
  • Emptying garbage and recycling bins per city garbage collection schedule.
  • Monitor site occupancy and enforce campground rules and safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns, emergencies, and maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for necessary repairs or supplies as maintenance Vice-President requests. Equipment inspection and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of site occupancy and incident reports. Completion Log Book activities daily
  • Assist the maintenance Vice-President in operation and maintenance activities with other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, property management, or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance, cleaning and repair tasks.
  • Comfortable working independently and handling emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time position with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Work is required to attend the site 4 hours daily from Monday to Sunday.
  • On-call availability for emergencies may be required.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
  • On-site accommodation may be available during the working period. Please specify whether you have own RV as an accommodation.
  • Free Wi-Fi

This is a Seasonal position, so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Summer Season (May-October).
