About Farms at Work
Farms at Work offers a place to meet, learn, share and explore for farmers in Durham, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Northumberland, Haliburton and Hastings. We envision a thriving farm community in east central Ontario where innovative farms are cultivating healthy ecosystems and contributing to resilient food systems.
Board Members needed
We have exciting plans at Farms at Work, and we’re looking for your enthusiasm to help guide us into the future! If you are a new farmer, own farmland AND/OR have an interest in or experience in land management, social enterprise development, fundraising, or financial management then we want to hear from you!
We will be holding an information session for prospective Board members at the end of January via Zoom (date coming soon).
We are looking to fill 2-3 positions. Board terms will begin mid-March.
