About Us

JAZZ Solar Solutions Inc. (JAZZ) is a team of skilled and experienced specialists who develop innovative renewable energy solutions utilizing solar PV, battery, and other emerging technologies. The team also provides engineering, procurement, construction, and project management services for renewable energy projects.

We specialize in rooftop solar installations for commercial and industrial clients, helping them reduce energy costs and carbon footprint. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team and drive business expansion in the commercial sector.

JAZZ is currently focused on developing an Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) business model for First Nations that entails services being delivered by First Nations-owned micro-utilities for communities. The Sales Manager will support First Nations in expanding to commercial roof-top projects to continue the EaaS business model.


Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth by selling rooftop solar solutions to commercial business owners. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure JAZZ’s continued and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in B2B sales, renewable energy, and business development.


Key Responsibilities

Lead Development

  • Generate and qualify leads through direct outreach, networking, and partnerships with commercial property stakeholders.
  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with commercial business owners and property managers with available rooftop space.

Sales Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in commercial rooftop solar installations.
  • Negotiate and close deals while maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to refine strategies.

Proposal Development and Project Implementation

  • Conduct site assessments and provide accurate solar energy solutions tailored to commercial client needs.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and financing options to business owners and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of solar projects.

Ongoing Learning

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, policies, and incentives related to commercial solar energy.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in solar energy, commercial real estate, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the commercial sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems, financing options, and government incentives for commercial clients.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
