Do you know:

How to use chainsaws? Do you know how to drive large trucks and trailers? Do you know how to tie knots? Do you know how to climb trees? Do you know how to inspect trees for pests and disease?

If not, do you want to learn?

This job requires heavy lifting, working at heights, and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Most importantly you should have the ability to sustain a positive attitude and stay focused, as well as maintain your physical health.

Experience as an Arborist or similar role is beneficial, but you will be trained and required to grow in all aspects of Arboriculture.

An ISA Certification or Manitoba Arborist License would be an asset. You will be required to attain and maintain an ISA Certification during your career with us.

You will be expected to assist and lead in pruning and removing trees by climbing or bucket truck access, plant trees, and assess overall tree health.

You must be able to work as part of a team with high standards, and interact with customers in a positive and appropriate manor.

Requirements:

• Clean driver's License
• Personal vehicle, we are not located on a bus route

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay
• Tips

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
