Location: Sherwood Park / Edmonton, Alberta

• Hours: 8-10 hour shift, Monday through Friday, potential overtime
• Status: Fulltime, permanent
• Wage: $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role:

• Tree Care: Tree/Shrub Pruning, Tree Removals, Brush Chipping, Assessing hazards, Hazard removals
• Tree removal
• Prepare Tree Equipment & forestry equipment
• Safe operation of equipment and vehicles
• Maintenance of all gear and equipment
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly: Ensure equipment meets company safety standards (conduct pre-trips, safety job site meetings, safe work practices)
• Commercial and residential worksites

Experience Requirements:

• ISA Certified
• 3+ years proficient climbing experience and provide own climbing gear
• Proficient in man lift (bucket truck) operation
• Extensive pruning and rigging experience
• Class 5 with Air (Q), or Class 3 Driver’s License

Required competencies/knowledge/skills/abilities:

• Positive attitude, team player, strong work ethic, and ability to communicate with clientele
• Competent in assessing hazards, tree rescue and emergency procedures
• Physically able to complete demanding work and repetitive tasks
• Able to comprehend written and verbal instruction

Desired but not required:

• TRAQ and any other related tree work/ chainsaw courses are a plus
• Valid First Aid Certification
