Camp Tanamakoon, nestled in the heart of Algonquin Park, is seeking experienced Canoe Trippers to join our team for the upcoming summer. If you’re passionate about the outdoors and eager to inspire campers through unforgettable canoe trips, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Dates

• Summer Job: June 20 - August 25
• Spring Work: Available (mid May to mid June)

About the Role
Canoe tripping is a cornerstone of the Camp Tanamakoon experience, offering campers aged 7-16 the chance to explore Algonquin Park's stunning landscapes. Trips range from simple overnights to week-long adventures, fostering growth, confidence, and a love of nature.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience leading canoe trips (experience with children/youth preferred)
• Proficiency in route planning, navigation, meal planning, site setup/takedown
• Dedication to safety and risk management on trips
• Wilderness First Aid and Swim qualifications (required)
• Familiarity with Algonquin Park (an asset)
