3 Camp Counsellors (Seasonal Work Opportunity)
10-week contract position, 35 hours per week (June 16th to August 22nd, 2025)

The position: Ecosource is seeking 3 Camp Counsellors to co-facilitate our EcoStart Summer Camp program, leading children and youth aged 6 to 14 in positive experiential learning. The counsellors will work in close collaboration with members of the Ecosource team to engage campers in outdoor play and discovery, exploring and cooking with local food, and hands-on environmental education using JEDIS (justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and safety) principles. The main camp activities will take place at Ecosource’s Community Climate Hub in Mississauga, with occasional offsite field trips.

This is a10-week contract position paid at a rate of $26.00 per hour at 35 hours per week from June 16th to August 22nd. Access to personal days and 6% vacation pay are included in the position. Due to the nature of this role, this position will be fully in-person at Ecosource’s Community Climate Hub in Mississauga.
A Police Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon hiring.
