WORK WITH DOGS

Needed: Dog handler/Innkeeper 
Host: Arctic Chalet
Location: Inuvik, Northwest Territories

We are currently looking for someone that would enjoy working with our white huskies and also helping with other aspects of our tourism business in Inuvik, Northwest Territories.  Housekeeping is an important part of job although there are a variety of other duties that may be involved such as preparing vehicles for rental, checking people in and out of cabins and helping with some office work.  This opportunity requires some physical fitness for sure.

The work is split between (1) volunteering with the huskies in exchange for room and board and (2) working part-time for pay at minimum wage. If you are an active person that enjoys living in nature and being around animals and are willing to work hard for a unique opportunity to live and work in the Arctic, this may be the place for you.

We are currently looking for summer staff for 2025 to work from May or June to the end of September, possibly longer.
