Get in on the Ground Floor of an Innovative Wastewater Solution for Ontario’s Cheesemakers

Big things start small, and we’re building something that could transform wastewater into a useful and profitable resource for Ontario’s cheese industry.

If you're passionate about sustainability, circular bioeconomies, and cutting-edge water treatment tech, we want YOU to be part of our journey -- right from the start.

Neus·ton /ˈno͞ost(ə)n/ — noun Biology — aquatic organisms living in the thin interface between air and water.

The Opportunity

We’re at the pre-seed, pre-prototype stage, which means this is the perfect time to get involved. We’re engaging with industry professionals, sustainability advocates, and technology experts to help shape our approach. Whether you’re a water treatment expert, cheese industry professional, engineer, microbiologist, organic chemist, agri-tech researcher, or just someone who's good with their hands and believes in sustainability, your insights and support could make a tangible impact on the future of agri-food waste treatment solutions.

Why It Matters

  • Environmental Impact: Keeping polluted waste streams out of waterways and sewers.
  • Sustainability Impact: Unlocking new uses for dairy waste and promoting water reuse.
  • Support for Local Businesses: Helping cheesemakers ditch expensive and intermittent waste disposal and turn their waste into something reliably valuable without breaking the bank.
  • Industry Impact: Staying ahead of regulations and waste management challenges while promoting the circular agri-food economy.

How You Can Get Involved

  • Join as an early volunteer or advisor—help refine our approach, test ideas, and get hands-on with hardware.
  • Connect us with cheesemakers, dairies, or food processors interested in trialing and co-developing new solutions.
  • Spread the word to your network of investors and sustainability champions passionate about impactful environmental technology.

Location: Remote/virtual positions are available for advisor roles. Candidates within travel distance of Toronto (GTA) are preferred for hands-on hardware development roles. We can offer travel assistance within the GTA and surrounding municipalities. Meetings are flexible - drop in whenever you have time.
