Wanted: Assistant(s) for Garden Activist

A senior, pollinator garden activist, who starts & maintains gardens, helps other gardeners and volunteer groups, does yard work in exchange for garden space. Would like one or more assistants...

• no previous experience needed
• enjoy being out in the sun
• can include communicating & meeting with property owners & others about new gardens
• can include postering, helping recruit other local volunteers
• can include coffee meets to talk about plans

• 2-3 hours on Fridays (schedule can change) April 25--June 20
• Letters and records of hours provided
• Gloves, sunscreen provided

• Plant care at different small gardens and yards Spring cleanup, trimming, pull weeds, potting, transplanting, & related activity
• Garden work is careful, not stressful. Take time to notice things. Learn about native flowers
• May interact & communicate with property owners, other gardeners, various people

Stipends available up to June 20:
Per hour basis $8 plus 20 Credits on Nice Talents Community Exchange.
