Organization: Forêt Capitale Forest
Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Based in Ottawa, Forêt Capitale Forest aims to mitigate the effects of climate change by facilitating the planting of forests and raising awareness of the importance of trees and biodiversity. Our vision is that by 2030, we will create an additional 1,000 hectares of tree cover in East Ottawa, helping to mitigate climate change and conserve biodiversity.

We rely on volunteers to help us grow our impact! This can be a range of areas that volunteers can help, from marketing and fundraising projects, to researching innovative ways for afforestation, to tree planting and tree care at our many locations across the National Capital Region. With the help of volunteers, we can strive to achieve our ambitions afforestation goals!
