Volunteer Call: Ecological Fair 2026

Role: ​Ecological Fair Volunteer

Location: Saint Paul University, Ottawa, Ontario

​The Ecological Fair is a community-driven event that brings together students, local organizations, activists, artists, and community members to explore sustainability and ecological action.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic student volunteers to support the Fair throughout the day on March 11, 2026.

​Role Overview:

This is a flexible and supportive role, ideal for students who enjoy teamwork, community engagement, and hands-on experiences. Volunteers play a key role in helping the Ecological Fair run smoothly.

​Responsibilities:

• ​Assist community booths, including local organizations and artists.
• ​Support the organizing team with logistics and coordination.
• ​Help create a welcoming and collaborative environment.
• ​No previous experience is required—just a positive attitude and willingness to help. All necessary training will be provided.

​Volunteer Shifts (Flexible):

• ​Morning Shift (8:30 am – 10:00 am): Support set-up of tables, welcome arriving organizations, and guide booths as they get ready.
• ​End-of-Day Shift (4:30 pm – 6:00 pm): Help take items off tables, assist with cleaning and organizing the space, and support the general wrap-up.
• ​Volunteers are welcome to stay for both shifts or help during other moments of the day if available.
