Be part of a creative Agricultural Tourism Farmstay experience on a bright and sunny open landscape 18 acres Hobby Farm and Campground with fruit orchards, vineyard, swimming and watering ponds and a common playing field.

We use only organic materials and permaculture and sustainable practices for growing fruit, berries and vegetables on our permaculture Farmstead. We encourage wild edible and medicinal plants to flourish. We focus on sustainability for our local farm markets through growing food, harvesting, processing, juice and fermentations, seed saving, and value-added farm goods.

Our work-trade season starts with pruning at the end of February. Through the spring we'll work together preparing Veggie Gardens, Herb and Flower gardens right up to the Fruit Tree and Berry seasons harvest specializing in Apples and Grapes up to the end of Fall. end of Fall. By the end of November, we'll be mulching and preparing gardens for overwintering, which can be done as the weather permits.

As your host, I work as a clothing Designer and I attend the local Artisan and Famer Market during the summer months. I work preparing and vending value-added food products from the Farm and for our Farm Stand. I like to participate in all work trade and design alternative building farm and facilites building projects. My focus is on self sufficiency through a Farmstead through Bio-Diversity with Edible and Medical plants through lifestyle and Agri-Tourism Farmstay.

The work exchange position is farm help for 15 hrs /week for accommodations. This will be based on a 3-day work week of 5 hr/day during your stay. Seasonal outdoor kitchens and facilities are provided.

I choose to share our Farm and Campground with like-minded individuals who want to live in a small intentional community where licensing agreements for the use an ALR campground are availalble for a longer term lifestyle.
