Wanted: Organic farm volunteers
Veggie farm: The Cutting Veg
Location: Sutton/Georgina, Lake Simcoe, Ontario (near Toronto)

Interested in volunteering on an organic veggie farm approximately 1 hour from Toronto?

Helping out on the farm is a great opportunity to learn practical growing skills, and to meet wonderful like-minded folks. Volunteer activities include a combination of planting, weeding, harvesting, preparing veg for market, plant care, etc. We will be welcoming volunteers most Friday mornings, and some Sunday mornings, from May to mid-October. The farm day runs from 8am-1pm.

Some other helpful info:

• Address is 535 Catering Rd., Sutton ON, L0E 1R0
• No commitment necessary — come as often or infrequently as you like. We just ask that you let us know in advance
• Bring snacks, and water bottle
• Bring lots of layers to adapt to the changing weather conditions. A raincoat and rain pants are essential, if there is any chance of rain.
• We work rain or shine
• Protect yourself from the sun: hats, sunscreen, etc are strongly advised
• Bring bags to take home veg
• Gloves and tools are provided
