About Us:

The Canadian Conservation Photographers Collective (CCPC) is dedicated to raising awareness and inspiring action to protect Canada’s wildlife and natural landscapes through the power of photography and videography. To support and expand our impact, we are seeking an experienced Grant Writer to help secure funding for our initiatives.

Role:

We are looking for a skilled Grant Writer to conduct in-depth research into funding opportunities and identify relevant grants, as well as prepare compelling grant applications. This volunteer position is ideal for someone with extensive experience in grant writing and a passion for conservation.

Responsibilities:

• Research potential funding opportunities for the CCPC.
• Write and submit grant applications for applicable opportunities.
• Ensure all grant applications align with CCPC’s mission and funding priorities.
• Track and meet grant deadlines while maintaining accurate records.
• Identify grants related to conservation, education, and photography.
• Work closely with the Executive Director and team to gather necessary information for applications.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience researching, writing, and submitting grant applications in Canada, with a proven track record of successful funding outcomes.
• Strong writing and research skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with conservation, education, and photography-related grants is an asset.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Passion for conservation and a commitment to promoting environmental sustainability.
