While we struggle to pay rent and afford our tuition, the biggest corporations in Canada are torching the planet and raking in record profits. Conservative politicians like Pierre Poilievre are gaining power by pretending to care – but we know that he would turn the keys of power over to the corporate elite at the first opportunity. It doesn’t have to be this way.

The All Of Us campaign is fighting to raise taxes on Canada’s largest corporations and the ultra-rich to generate billions of dollars to build green public housing, transform our energy system, create good unionized jobs, honour Indigenous land rights, and invest in the robust public services our communities depend on. It’s time to Tax their Billions and build a future for All of Us.

While some young people are being swayed by far-right propaganda, we know that students have a powerful legacy of fighting for a better world. We are recruiting volunteer Campus Leads to run the campaign at Canadian colleges and universities!

Campus Leads will be connected with fellow student leaders across the country, supported to build a local volunteer team, offered training, resources, and mentorship to run this campaign on your campus. You will have fun, gain experience, and help fight off the rise of the far-right by building power behind a transformative alternative! If you’re already a part of an existing group or organization that’s interested in running the campaign, then we can work with your whole team.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a current student at a college or university in Canada
  • No prior knowledge or qualifications needed to participate, but this opportunity would be a great fit for students invested in progressive politics and climate justice, and keen to build skills in political organizing and campaigning.
  • This is a 2-5 hour/week volunteer commitment, from January until the federal election. Most of these hours will be quite flexible and self-directed, but it will include some meetings and/or trainings.
