Volunteers: Community Day Garden

Green Care Farms is Canada’s first care farm for older adults living with dementia.
We are seeking volunteers to help us on the farm for our upcoming Community Days.
Green Care Farms is a social enterprise, providing an outdoor day program that empowers people with dementia to remain active and live a life filled with purpose. Members spend the day in our sensory garden, engaged in meaningful activities that have a horticultural focus. This year we are excited to celebrate our 5th year in operation!
Come join us for a community day and get involved with Canada’s first care farm for people with dementia. Work in the garden with volunteers and help us prepare our sensory garden for our program. There will be a variety of garden tasks that volunteers will help with that will change throughout the season.
Volunteering at our Community Days is a wonderful way to lend a helping hand at Canada’s first care farm for people with dementia, build community, and enjoy a day outside with great people.
