Auvrix Energy is seeking a Founding Technical Advisor – Advanced Materials R&D to work directly with the Founder in shaping the company's technical strategy, evaluating research opportunities, and helping establish its long-term innovation roadmap. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced scientist, engineer, or technical leader to apply their expertise toward identifying high-value research and development opportunities in advanced materials, extreme-environment technologies, thermal management, infrastructure reliability, and future industrial systems. Working alongside the Founder, the successful candidate will provide technical leadership in evaluating scientific opportunities, defining potential R&D pathways, assessing technical feasibility, and supporting the development of future intellectual property and commercialization opportunities.
As Auvrix advances through its research, validation, and team-building phase, this role offers the opportunity to influence future R&D programs, help build the company's technical foundation, contribute to intellectual property development, and play a meaningful role in shaping the future direction of an emerging Canadian deep-tech venture.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced scientist, engineer, or technical leader with a strong track record of evaluating, developing, and advancing innovative technologies within industrial, research, or commercialization-focused environments. They possess sound technical judgment, strategic thinking capabilities, and the ability to assess complex scientific and engineering opportunities from both technical and practical perspectives. They are comfortable operating in environments where technical direction is still being defined and where thoughtful evaluation, prioritization, and decision-making are critical. The successful candidate will bring experience navigating the intersection of research, technology development, intellectual property, and commercialization, while maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence and long-term value creation. This opportunity is well suited to individuals interested in contributing their expertise to the technical development of an emerging deep-tech venture, influencing future R&D priorities, and helping shape technologies with meaningful industrial relevance and commercial potential.
Compensation & Equity
This role includes an equity participation opportunity intended to recognize meaningful contributions to the technical development and long-term success of Auvrix Energy. Equity structure and participation will be aligned with the individual's level of involvement, responsibilities, and ongoing commitment to the company.
